Science is after all about discovery and exploration, not about checking items off of a list. Stage again when the fuel is empty on boosters, and then again when empty on stage 4.
#Kerbal science checklist full
Engage SAS, go to full throttle, and stage. A checklist of science would make it seem very mechanical like I was just collecting farmed crops. Now head to the launch pad and load Kerbal 1. So I spent today building a script to generate a giant Kerbal Science Checklist I basically scraped a lot of rules from the Kerbal Space Program wiki and coded them into a bunch of data.

I like 'discovering' science and part of that is the mystery of knowing what is and isn't science. I wanted a way to keep track of the various science experiments I’d done, and the built-in interface is so-so about tracking that in one easy to read place. I actually prefer a list of what's been found and where to a checklist of all available science. I'm not sure what to think, based on what was said in the post you quoted.

I hope the interface is more akin to a checklist, as opposed to a list of what one has found. End Checklist - Edited Novemby Doc Anderson I was stunned at how much science there was to be had. I've found it incredibly helpful so I put together a google. I know the Science Archives is there but I was also interested in what potential Science I had missed out on entirely so I went to the wiki and made a quick Excel sheet to use as a printable checklist. Using the info on the KSP Wiki, I put together a "science checklist" by location and biome of all the different science reports that could be collected for JUST Kerbin and the Mun. I'm a noob who recently began career mode. Then it occurred to me that I was potentially leaving a lot of science points on the table by not having a clear idea of what experiments could be done where and when. Like many of you, doing science mostly involves blasting off, going to a location, doing some science reports, and then either transmitting or recovering the vessel to get the science.
